The opening post.

On July 3rd, 2008, at approximately 5:30 pm, Ed and Andre were married in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

We have been a couple for 8 years. We are now legally recognized as such. We are husbands. We are afforded the full legal rights of the Canadian government. We are equal. We are married.

We want to thank each and every person who attended our wedding. We also want to thank everyone who had a desire to attend, but were unable. These are our friends. These are people who believe in our love and dedication to one another. These are people who understand that devotion has no gender. We love, respect, and genuinely care about one another.

Thank you. Really, thank YOU.

The photos attached to this blog have been minimized for relatively quick viewing. If you click on them, you will get large format pictures of up to 2 Mb each. I have raw photos of each of these available to you if you wish. I can send them directly to you via email at up to 3.5 Mb if you request. Just ask. Not all of these pics are beautiful, but each of them is real. Many of the pics of attendees are wonderful. You all photograph well. Please feel free to save some of these pics for yourselves. They're very good.

If you need me to remove any of these pics from public access, just let me know. We will respect your privacy. In general, this picture site is only known to those who were previously invited to the wedding.

Unfortunately, I must inform everyone that the use of these pics in commercial, political, or any negative light is forbidden absolutely. International Copyright is retained by Ed and Andre. We will be the sole parties determining the suitability of any posting of pictures outside of this site. We're sorry we have to make this statement, but we have to be a bit careful about these things.

Special thanks to our photographer, S.R. Excellent work with a camera you'd never seen before.
